Irish language Fiction book of the Year awarded to “Imram agus scéalta eile” by Róise Ní Bhaoill
Congratulations to Róise Ní Bhaoill on her win last night of ‘Irish Language Fiction Book of the Year” sponsored by Foras na Gaeilge. It was a great night celebrations in the Convention Center in Dublin. Congratulations to all the other writers nominated as well.
It’s a very prestigous award in Irish language literature and it is wonderful that Imram agus scéalta eile has been received this recognition. As a publisher it is a great privilege to work with Róise, it is a gift to get the opportunity to work on a work of this high a standard. Róise comes from a rich literary tradition and her writing gives us great insight into the wider world as well as Gaeltacht life. There is no subject that is too big for her. She writes from the heart and there is a richness in her writing. We want to wish her every success and keep an eye out for her new book, a collection of poetry Idir an Dá Fhearsaid that is coming soon.
