Caitlín Bheití Ní Chuireáin

Caitlín Ní Chuireáin is from Mín a’ Chladaigh in the Donegal Gaeltacht. When she married together with her husband she moved to Co. Clare where they raised their family. She never forgot her roots and the area where she was raised and her writing gives us insight into her youth and the Gaeltacht area she was from. In 2010 Caitlín wrote an account of her youth Nuair a bhí mé óg before she began her first novel Muintir an Ghleanna. She lives in Kilrush in Co. Clare.
