Dairena Ní Chinnéide is a prolific writer who writes from the heart and seeks probing questions about life. In this her latest collection, she explores the ground between us, moving into the space between and evaporating into air. It’s timely work that deals with our current condition; caught between two lives. Ní Chinnéide feels our way through and throws light on the space she frees up. The space Ní Chinnéide seeks out in this collection are transitional places where form and mind change shape.

This is a solid collection with over 80 poems. The foreword written by Professor Máirín Nic Eoin offers a key to the reader into the poems. Delicate illustrations by Kim Sharkey are woven throughout the text offering another layer of meaning to the page.
