Mór agus Muilc

An Irish language children’s folk tale

Illustrated by Kim Sharkey it tells of two characters, Mór and Muilc, who go to collect seafood from the shore. They get a fright when they come accross a crab under a stone and rush off in a panic. They create a bit of a panic which leads to disaster and the moral is not to always believe what you hear.

Mór and Muilc meet many delightful characters on their journey through the Gaeltacht of Donegal.

Mór and Muilc has been nominated for many awards and Kim Sharkey was awarded the Eilís Dillon award for her illustrations and work on the book. Kim is a talented and prolific illustrator and artist.
