An Irish language children’s folk tale illustrated by Kim Sharkey. It tells of two characters, Mór and Muilc, who go to collect seafood from the shore. They get a fright when they come accross a crab under a stone and rush off in a panic. They create a bit of a panic which leads to disaster and the moral is not to always believe what you hear.
Mór and Muilc meet many delightful characters on their journey through the Gaeltacht of Donegal.
A description of the origins of the story was documented in the Irish Times by Dónall Ó Cnáimhsí the Oifigeach Pleanála Teanga for Gaoth Dobhair, Loch an Iúir, Anagaire and Rann na Feirste in north-west Donegal
