This DVD includes a 30 minute film describing the phenomena that is Donegal Couple Dancing, explaining it’s origins and putting the music and dance in historical context. It includes interviews with musicians and dancers who practice the dances and provide musical accompaniment to the dancers. Among the musicians are the fiddlers Vincent Campbell, Jimmy Campbell and Danny Meeehan. The dancers include Cití Seán Uí Chuinneagain, Paddy McMenamin and Clement Gallagher, together with many more dancers and musicians from all over Donegal.
